Subject: Junior Sisk Bluegrass Concert August 16th

Hi,

Just a quick reminder Junior Sisk and his new band will be coming through the Buffalo area Friday night 7pm, August 16th.  The concert is being held at Clarence Center-Akron Mennonite Church, 11500 Clarence Center Rd., Akron, NY.  $15pp. I had a chance to see this band at the Remington Ryde Bluegrass Festival back in July.  There is something magical about this group of musicians that doesn't come around to often.. The music that I feared had been lost with the passing of the first generation is alive and well with Junior and his band.  If you love traditional Bluegrass music you won't want to miss this sound!

Junior has added Heather Berry-Mabe and her husband, Tony Mabe, to the Junior Sisk Band. All three grew up in the Blue Ridge regions of Virginia and North Carolina, and are steeped in the style of mountain music long associated with this area. In addition to Junior and Heather on guitar, and Tony on banjo, Jonathon Dillon remains on mandolin, as does Gary Creed on bass. For the time being, Doug Bartlett on fiddle.

Hope to see you soon, please share this event with a friend.

Charlie
